Everything was delicious. We had the Ratatouille pizza and the spinach margarita pizza. We ordered both pizzas in the deep AF style because that's what was suggested by the waitress. I had extremely high expectations because everybody always tells me how amazing the pizza is. I thought the flavors were good, however the center of my pizza was very chilled even though the outside was steaming hot. That might be something common with deep dish pizzas but I'm not very familiar with that style so not sure. If I was with somebody that wanted to go I would definitely do it again. But I'm not sure it's on my list of a must do when friends or family come into town.

I am a true Chicago-style pizza fan. A connoisseur, you might say. So, it was with great joy that I walked into the Nashville location of Gino's East. After being ignored at the hostess stand for 5 full minutes, I was finally asked if I needed help. I replied, "A seat would be great. I'm good with the bar." After seating myself at the bar, I waited another 5 minutes to get a menu & hear the lunch special, of which I took full advantage. A personal deep dish 1-topping pie, salad & drink for less than $10 after tax! It was delicious, arrived fast & was every bit as good as the Chicago locations. Once they get their service in order, this could be a 5-star pizza joint. Highly recommended.

This was my first true deep dish experience, so we went all out and ordered the cheeseburger pizza. When the waitress said it was like a pizza adaptation of a Big Mac, she wasn't joking! The pizza was delicious! However, unless you're sharing with more than two people, opt for another pizza. It's A LOT of food. Glad we tried it, but I wouldn't do it again. The buffalo mozzarella sticks are also a great choice! We were here to see Zach Martina's stand-up comedy show, which was such a good time! Other than the slow service, this place was great!

I'm from the Chicago area and was so excited to hear my favorite pizza of all time was coming to Nashville. The pizza was excellent, everything I had hoped this deep dish pizza would be. I got the supreme with half pepperoni and half broken sausage with the usual mushrooms, green pepper, and onion. The butter crust was perfect. The restaurant though smaller than I had envisioned was very clean and fashionable in a modern looking way. There is a long bar area as well. It looks like they have a side yard area for outdoor seating. It doesn't look like you can write on the walls like the Gino's on Ontario in Chicago. Some of the newer Gino's East locations in Chicagoland don't allow writing on the walls either. It would be fun if you could. The ladies room was very clean. Now onto the reason I only gave 4 stars and not 5. They did not answer their phones so I could place my take out order. I called at least 4 times with no answer so I had to order when I got there and wait for a deep dish to cook which can be 30 to 40 min. The wait staff seemed short staffed, stressed out, and rude. They don't validate your parking. There is plenty of pay parking in the area and about 4 free parking spots on the street out front.

Guys.....the Pizza.....OMG I loved the food here. Went on a Saturday night...didn't wait for a table and stumbled upon a comedy show they were having there. Very funny! Food and service were quick. Will definitely return.
